1989 - "THE NEW AKSU BAL” STARTS ITS JOURNEY
Yunus Aksu started his business life with beekeeping and bee products. The first product was the blend of “honey, royal jelly, pollen”. It had super, normal and small doses. He started his beekeeping journey while studying in the faculty of agriculture. When the faculty finished, he was among the first to produce honey, pollen, royal jelly and propolis on the market in preparation.
1994 – AKSUVITAL BRAND IS BORN
After selecting Aksuvital as the main brand, the brand entered into apitherapy, phytotherapy and aromatherapist product production and marketing process. By establishing the company philosophy on “HUMAN HEALTH”, the brand has expanded its product range in this field. He created a series of herbal remedies for the sick following Avicenna’s treatment approach. The company was the first company to use propolis in herbal pastes. The potency enabled the pomegranate plant to gain widespread use by converting it from olive oil style to honey form to overcome the difficulty of use. Now it continues its innovative side by turning soft gel into a capsule.
1996 - MOVE TO ISTANBUL
“If you have turned your eyes to the world, you have to be in Istanbul.” With this idea, the brand moved to Istanbul. Since 2000, the company started to operate under Aksu Vital Doğal Ürünler Gıda ve San. AŞ.
2003 - SHIFFAHOME BRAND IS BORN
The journey from the outskirts of the mountain to the top was a long and challenging one. It was necessary to position the products and market. Such that each market has its own rules. Food supplements, plant-based oils and herbal teas come to life with ShiffaHome brand. Now, the target was clearer. The company would expand the range of products that contribute to human health. For this, he classified it as API THERAPY-PHYTOTHERAPY-AROMA THERAPY and set its long-term goals along with market positioning.
2003 - AVICENNA BRAND IS BORN
He was known as Avicenna in the Western countries. Ibn-i Sina, the father of medication and an important philosopher was our inspiration. With the Avicenna brand, whose name we registered, food supplements and new products started to be produced in the pharmacy canal. The company opted for branding by differentiating natural health supplements under three main categories. It was a hard choice but we thought that it was important to consider the market demand. For this purpose, we positioned Avicenna brand in the pharmacies. The next step was to produce GETAT traditional medical products/medications with our GMP licence.
2009 - SOFTEM BRAND IS BORN
Since we started our journey to produce the most natural for the people, this time we want to address another field of well-being which is the aroma therapy. By transforming aromatic oils into different products, the company has started to produce aromatic oils, shampoos, soaps, creams and dermo-cosmetic products under the Softem® brand, which means soft medicine. In accordance with the founding philosophy, he also developed natural/herbal products in the field of dermo-cosmetics. He created the Softem brand by thinking that there is a need for naturalness in external products that contact people.
2010 – NATURAL HEKİMCE IS BORN
In the market channel, milled products, pastes, tablets and syrups under the brand name natural Medicine® were produced. As the main brand, Aksuvital has considered the accessibility to existing at every point in the domestic market that can reach consumer demands and create a response to changing consumer demands. For this purpose, availability was the aim. In the foreign market, a widespread presence is targeted by applying the same policy. With the focus of consumer demands on the market shopping mall channel, brand differentiation was needed. With this, it is aimed both to prevent market conflict and to ensure that the consumer is special according to the place where they belong and shop.
2012 - NEW FACTORY AND OFFICES
In 2012, we moved to our own factory and office in Beylikdüzü with the core team. We can produce all modern products with medication quality in a 9.000 sqm closed area with the purpose of being a part of the future vision of our country. Licensed by the Ministry of Industry, the first R&D CENTRE in the field was established as a research laboratory in 600 square meters of area. Multifunctional production facility, solution, drop, tablet, capsule, effervescent can produce from tablet to pastil, paste to soft gel capsule, from traditional to the most modern. The R&D side is moving several times ahead of its peers, intending to get 3 projects and a patent per year. With this, Aksuvital has launched the process of “Turkquality” and aims at a new momentum in both institutionalization and the international market.
